Rick Yandle began conducting private and instrument pilot weekend ground courses in Birmingham, Alabama in 1984 when the FAA started publishing the actual exam questions.  Initially, classes were only held in Birmingham and various other Alabama locations where the FAA Knowledge Exam could be administered.  In 1986, Rick relocated to the Atlanta area where all weekend courses are currently being scheduled.  
 
Our instructor staff consists of advanced ground instructors, instrument ground instructors, and certified flight instructors, all well versed in delivering successful accelerated courses.
 
The owner and chief instructor, Rick Yandle, has over 45 years of flying experience with thousands of hours as a flight and ground instructor. Although Rick enjoyed his years as a flight instructor, his real love as always been in the classroom, with over 8,000 hours logged, all teaching accelerated courses.
